What is Cupping Massage?
Cupping massage uses suction cups placed on the skin to create a gentle vacuum that lifts the underlying tissue. The cups may be held in place or glided along the muscles, drawing blood to the surface, loosening tight fascia, and releasing tension that manual pressure cannot reach. What to expect during your session
Your therapist places the cups on areas of tension, either holding them in place or gliding them along the muscle with oil. The sensation is a firm but comfortable pull. Cupping can leave temporary circular marks on the skin — these are normal, painless, and fade within a few days.

Does cupping leave marks?
It can leave temporary, painless circular marks where the cups draw blood and stagnation to the surface — a normal part of how cupping works, not a bruise in the painful sense. They usually fade within a few days to a week. If you have an event coming up, let your therapist know and they can adjust placement.
Is cupping painful?
No. You feel a firm pulling or tugging sensation as the cups create suction and gently lift the tissue, which most guests find relieving rather than uncomfortable. When the cups are glided along the muscle with oil it feels like a deep, satisfying stretch, and your therapist adjusts the suction to your comfort throughout.
